Eight new three and four bedroom units are constructed on two vacant lots in North Philadelphia. All street elevations are clad in red brick with brown accent stripes and pre-cast concrete lintels and sills, compatible with the older brick row houses in the neighborhood. Ease of construction and an energy-efficient envelope were two of the primary design considerations. Habitat's own staff worked alongside volunteer labor to complete the construction.
