K+A Earns Design Awards
Two Design Awards of Honor were presented to Krieger Architects by the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) on September 22. The awards were granted for two of the firm's residential renovation projects. In one, a gutted ground-floor Center City apartment was completely renovated to create an open, modern condo with lots of daylight and views to a private garden. The other winning project involved renovating and expanding an older Chestnut Hill home with sensitivity to its mix of modern and cottage styles. "We're delighted that these projects have won such recognition. Both homes offered interesting problems for us to solve, and clients who were enthusiastic and very much engaged in the design process," said Jeff Krieger.
