K+A Makes Houzz Top 10 List
A Krieger kitchen addition project was one of the most popular among the users of Houzz, a website that allows remodeling-minded viewers to save professional photos of home interiors and exteriors to their personal ideabooks. The site named our project as one of 10 kitchen design favorites in the Philadelphia market in 2012. Part of a larger renovation in Chestnut Hill, the kitchen is light-filled, with a mix of finishes including slate floors and counters, cherry and white-painted cabinetry, butcher block, and a large custom steel potrack. A window bay with banquette seating provides a cozy family dining area.
K+A Renovation Featured in Kitchen + Bath Ideas
In renovating an older house in Chestnut Hill, we designed built-in seating to make room for a family dining area in the small kitchen. The banquette is packed with storage drawers for optimal use of the limited space. The bright white modern kitchen can be seen in this Better Homes and Gardens publication.
